Bare Escentuals foundation is the best I’ve ever found. It lasts all day, protects my face from the sun, looks entirely natural and helps keep my skin smooth and healthy. I can’t praise it enough.

I love their foundation. And what’s interesting is that when I first ordered it a few years ago, the form asked re: rosacea (which I have, mildly) and I didn’t think anything of it but I wondered why one of the two foundation colors they sent (to be able to blend the color better with your skin tone) had a bit of a yellow tint. NOW, the so-called “cooling” powders abound out there (example: clinique’s new product) and it’s the yellow that kind of “cancels” out the red! Very interesting. BE sure lead the pack with that one.
I read somewhere that BE was still considered the gold standard of mineral makeup. I couldn’t agree more.
Please don’t be discouraged if this is your first powder foundation. There is a way to do it “right” so keep practicing. It’s all about getting the look and amount of coverage that YOU want for your face.

I love this foundation. It goes on so very smooth and feels weightless. Stays on even in the hottest weather and has a natural sunscreen too. I have very sensitive skin and have found this foundation does not cause any irritation at all.
The color is a good match to most medium skin tones. This evens up my skin tone and took away some redness too. Application is easy but make sure you have a soft big brush to apply and a smaller brush for trouble areas and underneath the eyes.
