I am disappointed with this lipstick. The color is nothing like what is shown on the screen (I have rose crepe), it feels drying, it comes off on everything and is totally gone within an hour. And I’ve never needed lip liner before but with how much this lipstick feathers, it is required now. This is sad because I like several other Bare Escentuals products.

I have this in passion fruit. I like it, but I agree with previous reviewers in that it does not go on that smooth, it is somewhat dry. But, the color I have lasts a LONG time! And it makes the application worth it. I would have given it 5 stars if it was just not quite so dry, but it’s still a good lipstick.

I like this lipstick smooth and no odor. Seems long wearing. slightly darker for fair people- will use for evening shade. probably good everyday for people with medium tones. Not too red-or pink-or brown. to me a perfect shade-

I own this lipstick in Italian Ice and really love the color. However, this lipstick is difficult to apply. It goes on very dry – not creamy and smooth at all. Once on, it stays in place and the color stays true for a long time, but it is so dry that my lips start to chap by midday. So I’ve started using a clear gloss over the top just to add a bit of shine and moisture. I’m not sure I’d buy this product again, given the price. I have much less expensive lipsticks from drugstore brands that I like much better and that don’t dry my lips.

I got the Rose Crepe color and it IS PERFECT! This stuff glides on soft and smooth, wears like your fav lip balm. You know how lipstick can feel gooey or cloggy on your lips after awhile. This stiff is not like most lipsticks. My lips feel like they are wearing nothing at all, just smooth and soft. The color really does last for a long time sort of fades away into a nice berry stain so there’s none of that awkward half on, half off lipstick look that you might get with most lipsticks. The best lip product I have ever tried. The color is perfect for me too, I think Rose Crepe would look good on most skin tones (I’m Black with lighter skin) since it pretty much matches what most people’s lip color looks like anyway, just darker for a “bitten” look.
