This is the best all-over face color I’ve ever found! I loveeee the “clear” radiance and put this all over my face as my foundation. I have a red butterfly rash across my cheeks & nose and other make-up didnt really cover it (or if it did, it still came through in pictures). I tried this and could not believe that it covered up all my redness. It has a fine shimmer to it and made my face actually glow. I knew it was the best when everyone I knew remarked to me how refreshed I looked and that I was “glowing”. (I have lupus and spinal OA so I am in some pain alot of the time, which always showed on my face….but all of a sudden after using this makeup people thought I was feeling better. Unfortunately my body was not better …but my facial skin was looking fantastic! I even had someone take my picture and the redness did not show through on the picture). I tell everyone that remarks about it that it’s not me feeling better, it’s the new makeup that I’m using.

Glee is the perfect name for this all-over face color which, used sparingly, gives you a healthy glow that seems beautifully natural.

I’m Irish, fair-skinned with naturally rosy cheeks. Once I put my my bare minerals foundation on, I tend to need more face color! I bought the bare minerals light kit which came with Warmth all-over face color. It was a little too dark for me. I think it looks better on tan skin or darker skin tones. I decided to try glee and I absolutely love it. The best thing about the all-over face colors is you don’t need much. Glee is a very soft, dewy kind of look, perfect for spring!

Just be aware a little goes a long way; the color is really intense and if you use too much you look like an 80′s rocker. If applied sparingly, it adds a lovely color and lasts all day. I’ve found that mixing it with mineral veil first makes it less intense and more like a bronzer, rather than a really strong blush. It’s a brownish bronze color, and with the mineral veil can be moderated nicely. If I don’t mix it first I need to go over it again with the foundation or it’s just too intense. I got a jar of it 11/05 with the starter pack and it is STILL mostly full, and I use it a few times a week. I think it’s a good product, I just had to learn to modify it so it worked best for me. I think that’s what is so good about the BE products; you can use them in a way that works for you, but may be different than how others use them. For future purchases, I think I’ll get a less dark/intense shade.

My sister recently purchased a BE starter kit, and she was so impressed that I decided to try it for myself. One of the extras that she bought was “Clear Radiance” all-over face color. I absolutely LOVED the color and very slight shimmer provided by this product. It is a great TRULY all-over face highlighter without being at all over-powering.
“Warmth” was also included in the starter kit. Being very pale, I was skeptical that I would be able to use such a dark bronzer-like product (and I definitely used too much on my first try), but with practice, I found that I was able to get a good bronze highlight without going overboard. MOST IMPORTANT HINT: You do have to be VERY careful to use a VERY small amount, especially for pale skin-tones.
Also, Warmth is a little bit finer powder than the foundation. Because of this, I have found that it tends to gather above the sifter rather than staying below the sifter. This causes quite a bit of trouble if you are trying to use the recommended minimal amount (sticks to lid, and you have to tap off as much as possible before swirl/tap/buff). I would recommend only removing part of the sticker covering the sifter, so that way only a couple/few sifter holes are open, leaving you with more control.
I liked Clear Radiance and Warmth SO much that I decided to try more all-over face colors. When looking at the color selections, I was drawn to Glee, Soft Focus Warmth, and Rose Radiance. I went to my local BE boutique, and the Glee was too purple for my skin tone (I’m sure it is spectacular on others, just wasn’t right for me).
While looking at the Sephora BE online boutique, I saw the “Go Bare, Baby” kit which included Soft Focus Warmth (SF Warmth), Rose Radiance, Bare Radiance, and the Soft Focus Face Brush. Considering that I was already wanting SF Warmth (for my paler skin) and Rose Radiance as well as a softer face brush, I decided that the GBB kit was perfect.
SF Warmth is EXACTLY what you would expect. It has all the qualities of Warmth which I like, but just a little bit lighter, which is perfect for my pale skin. As I said before, I have learned to use regular Warmth; however, I will probably give that to my sister (slightly tanner than me) and use SF Warmth from now on.
Rose Radiance is perfect as a light blush (a little too dark for me to use all over), and I have been able to create a very nice look by layering Clear Radiance, SF Warmth, and Rose Radiance and using them on different parts of my face (all-over, cheeks, eyes). I think I will probably be needing to purchase a true blush for occassions which require a darker blush, but Clear & Rose Radiance are perfect for everyday.
I have not yet used Bare Radiance, but since it is so neutral, I imagine it will be another great choice for all-over color and also an interesting addition to eye effects, etc. The pots in the GBB kit are a bit smaller than full size all-over colors, but considering the tiny amount used each application, I think they will probably last quite a long time. I love BE’s all-over colors, and there is a GREAT selection of different colors!
