I decided to get the bare minerals foundation and eye starter kits after reading all of the great reviews. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am totally blown away. The foundation is fabulous and the eye kit is great as well. All of the powders just blend so well making it impossible to mess up. I always hated how I had to take all of my eye makeup off if I didn’t make my liner strait across the lid. That’s not an issue with this stuff.. just blend the base color right over the mess-up.
I will say that I find it hard to use as eyeliner dry. But just wet the brush and make a liquid of it and it works better than any eye pencil or pen.
I already ordered 2 more eye collections so that I can start getting creative. I can’t wait!

This is an awesome day-time eye kit! I normally don’t wear eye makeup during the day, but if I do these are the colors I wear because its nice, light and natural. I love the brushes, especially the defining brush! I also love the eye-liner and liner brush because you can’t see that you’re wearing eye liner (doesn’t leave a thick line) but definitely lines and defines your eyes. I can even wear it on my bottom lash line. Definitely worth the money for the 4 powders and 3 brushes!

I think this set is awesome. The directions are very informative with pictures and everything! and for someone like me, who doesn’t have much eye makeup experience, this is great. I highly recommend this set for anyone who wants to learn the basics of applying eyeshadow.

I have fair skin and red hair. I was hoping to find a non-irritating, everyday look for my eyes that was both complimentary and stay-put. I found just that in this Bare Minerals product. I love the peachy beige look of the shadow, very natural and sophisticated. My eyes appear a lighter blue when wearing this shadow. I noticed the model on the box has brown eyes and she looks amazing, so I would think the colors would look great on various eye colors. I was skeptical about the liner. One, it was powder turned to paste with a liner brush. I’ve always used liquid eyeliner. I was quite pleased and happy to find this liner worked better than my liquid and actually stayed put equally as well.

eyeshadow in the world. Being new to this makeup line this kit was en excellent addition. The colors, vanilla sugar eye shadow (a light creamy peach), fashionista liner shadow (a rum raisin/brown),peach puff eyeshadow (creamy peach), and explore soft focus eye shadow (medium brown) all blend together so that you cannot tell where one color starts and the other begins. Applying your bareminerals foundation first, glues it all on. The included booklet guides you along.
Being in my 40′s, natural looking is the name of the game for me. No glitter, sparkles, heavy eye liners etc. This kit accomplished that. I got brave and tried the “foiling” effect and fell in love ! The colors did not migrate, the liner stayed in place for over 12 hours, and I had no eye irritation at all.
Do yourself a favor and try this out ! You will never go back to other eye makeup. I recommend this to everyone I know, you won’t be dissappointed !
